I am going to be in Seattle this weekend. Do any of you have ideas of good places to look for yarn in that area? I'll probably have enough time to go as far north as Everett, as far south as South Center and as far east as Bellevue and Kirkland. Thanks for your thoughts.

Challenging Alaskans to Knit for the 2010 Olympics! This Team originally formed to meet the challenge of Knitting Olympics 2006. The members cast on a project during the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics and did their best to finish before the Olympic flame went out. We tested ourselves during the Summer Knitting Olympic Trials of August 2008. Now we're heading for February 12, 2010: ready, set, KNIT when the flame is lit!

I can't help you with Seattle yarn stores. But on the topic of yarn stores, I moved from Ketchikan, where I was a frequent visitor to the Dockside Gallery and Rainforest Crafts, to Southern California. Here in this land of plenty stores and people there is not one decent yarn store near me. How can that be? I am now ordering all my yarn online!!!
