Preemie Hat Project

Hey Team AK-
I finally finished my sweater (I hope you don't mind indulging me, I had to show someone) and began a preemie hat last night. I finished it this morning. What a fun quick project. I've never knit a hat specifically for a preemie before (and my babies had such BIG heads) does this look on target to you? Choc, will you publish the address to which we should mail our hats?

I hope to have info to post soon about a chemo hat project. Also wanted to mention that the Dulaan Project (http://www.fireprojects.org/) is only accepting donations until July 1. There is also Afghans for Afghans (http://www.afghansforafghans.org/) if everyone is interested in an international project. Let me know what you're all thinking - and knitting. I'd love to see photos of other projects.

Hope everyone is well-
kathy

Your hat is so beautiful, and the sweater looks wonderful.

Mail the hats to: Choc Schafer, 1415 Millar Street, Ketchikan, AK 99901.

Now that tax season is over my work hours will be more like 50 hours a week, rather than 80, so I'll have time to knit. I bought enough yarn for 2 or three hats and will start on the first one this week.

Kathy, Your sweater is gorgeous! Congratulations on finishing it! And the hat looks the right size, and is very cute.

Choc, I'll be working on a hat or two this coming week, and am encouraging Cait to do the same, now that she has finished her semester's classes. BTW, you and I have a mutual acquaintance, Amanda W., in Ketchikan.

I'll post photos of my recent knitting distractions, along with my hat(s), in the next week or so - when I get the hats done!

Wow! Your sweater is fantastic. Beautiful job.

And the hat is so itsy bitsy. I need to get started on a hat or two.

Archeoharp, funny Amanda W. (if we are talking about the architect!) is a good friend of mine! Alaska is such a small world, isn't it?
